Danny Keys, Senior Operations Manager – Traffic Management
Danny is our Senior Operations Manager for the Traffic Management division, a part of the business launched in 2024 and already flourishing under his leadership. From day one, he approached it as if it were his own – building it with energy, ownership and a clear focus on quality, safety and people. Following the foundations laid within the vegetation side of DES, Danny has grown the Traffic Management division with the same principles: high-quality delivery, strong standards and a safety-first mindset. His leadership has been instrumental in establishing this division as a strong and rapidly developing part of the business.
Danny brings over 20 years of experience within the traffic management sector. His extensive industry knowledge, operational understanding, and practical leadership have given DES significant strength in launching and expanding this new division. Having worked within more corporate environments, he understands the pressures and structure of large organisations, but values the opportunity to work within a family-run business where people are recognised and supported.
As Senior Operations Manager for Traffic Management, Danny oversees operational delivery, team development, compliance and performance standards. He is firm but fair in his approach, believes strongly in developing people and creates opportunities for individuals to grow within the business. His experience, combined with his people-first leadership style, ensures that quality and safety remain central while the division continues to expand at pace.
Danny has built the Traffic Management division on the same foundations as DES itself – quality-driven, safety-led and focused on supporting people so the business can continue to grow and succeed together.
